Cycling brand Rapha, whose sector saw high demand during the pandemic, has signed a deal for a larger headquarters in the capital.

The company, which sells clothing and accessories in stores and online, has agreed a 15 year lease for 33,500 square feet of recently refurbished office space at the Laszlo building in Archway. There is room there for over 250 staff.

Rapha, which was founded in London in 2004, currently occupies around 19,000 square feet in King’s Cross where some 200 people can work.

Numerous employers are looking at post-pandemic workspace plans, with some axing space and embracing more remote working. But there are others want to give staff more space, even if they are only in for part of the week.

The Laszlo property was fully renovated by landlord Dorrington, and Rapha’s Caroline Croswell said: “With our inspiring growth performance, this fantastic space will allow us to further develop a culture where we can fully deliver our purpose of making cycling the most popular sport in the world, whilst nurturing our most precious asset – our people.”

Property agents Compton, Harper Dennis Hobbs and Pilcher London advised on the letting.
