We've all been there - you step out of the door only to be greeted by a downpour.
But one Cocker Spaniel puppy's adorable reaction to encountering rain for the first time has been melting hearts on the internet.
The tiny pup's reaction was captured on camera by his owner.
The eight-week-old dog, called Riley, had been living at his new home for less than a week when he popped outside for a toilet break, only to be greeted by raindrops.
The flabbergasted pooch can't work out what's going on, with a voiceover on the video saying: “What is this? Is it a game? Run! Hang on I’m getting wet!”
The spooked puppy is seen jumping around the patio attempting to dodge the raindrops as they fall around him.
The video has since been watched more than 155,000 times, earning the family’s new arrival thousands of followers.
One TikTok user said: “Wait until the first snow - snowfall throwing and eating ice!”
Another joked: “The sky is attacking me!”
Whilst the general consensus that it was the ‘cutest thing I’ve seen all day’ for many of his new fans.
