The cat appears to be kneading the dogs back, something domesticated moggies do when they are feeling content.
Pushing her paws in and out on to the soft surface of the dogs fur, is also likely to be relaxing for Tong-Ngern too.
It is thought kneading is a left over cat behaviour from kittenhood, where they need their mothers during nursing to promote the flow of milk.

According to Live Science in adulthood, a cat supposedly will knead when it's feeling happy or content because it associates the motion with the comforts of nursing and its mother.
It added that another hypothesis proposes that kneading harks back to a time before domestication, when wild cats supposedly patted down foliage to make a soft surface for sleeping or giving birth.
The behavior may now be an instinctual part of settling down.
