Cute and luxury dog accessories to help you give the ultimate proposal to your partner

Proposals are becoming more creative.

The art of popping the question no longer includes going down on one knee thanks to our loveable pets.

Those who are thinking of proposing are now turning to their dogs to help them out in the exciting event.

Whether it's trusting your pooch to take the ring to your partner or placing the ring on the collar, there's no denying that couples are loving the trend.

Bespoke jewellery brand Taylor & Hart conducted a survey which found that 30% of pet owners either have or plan to get their furry friend involved in their proposal story.

The survey also revealed that over half of their customers have a dog with their partner, and over 60% of those want to have their dog as part of their wedding day.

The jeweller has had a surge in requests for dog accessories, with more Brits than ever now being proud pet parents.

To coincide with the popularity of pooch proposals they have launched a new range of Pooch Pendants so your dog's collar can now match your engagement ring.

Kate Earlam-Charnley, Taylor & Hart Design Director, said: "We know how important dogs are to families and couples and understand that the bond you have is every bit as real as your human love.

"As a dog owner (and lover), I’m incredibly proud that we’re launching this brand new product that honours mankind’s most ancient bond.

"After all, our furry best friends deserve to shine just as bright as we do!"

The engraved puppy tags are custom-designed by Taylor & Hart's designers and start from £420.

However, if these tags are a bit pricey for your budget there are plenty of other options to aid you in your puppy proposal - scroll down for more.

This 'Marry my Daddy' bandana is a cute and simple accessory for your pooch proposal and only costs £7.99.

Or you can get this engraved dog collar tag for £21.32.

If the last year has shown anything, it’s that true love and companionship can always be found in our furry friends as millions of people across the world have turned to the partnership of their pets in a world of uncertainty.
