ANTI-monarchy campaigners are set to join protests against Donald Trump later this week arguing King Charles and the US president are "cut from the same cloth".
The Stop Trump Coalition has called a mass demonstration on Wednesday as the president is due to arrive in the UK for an unprecedented second state visit.
Supporters of anti-royal organisation Republic are planning to join the demonstration to point out that "like Trump, Charles is accused of corruption and law breaking, intolerant of dissent and is a billionaire with little interest in democracy".
Protesters are set to proclaim "corrupt billionaires aren't the answer" as Trump and his wife Melania are hosted by the King and Queen Camilla at Windsor Castle.
Trump, the first ever convicted felon to become US president, has already been feted with a state visit to the UK, hosted by the late Queen Elizabeth in 2019.
Republic CEO Graham Smith said: "Charles and Trump are cut from the same cloth. Like Trump, Charles is a corrupt billionaire accused of breaking the law.
"Unlike Trump, Charles is unelected.

"Trump might be more crass and obvious in his contempt for democratic norms and ideas like equality, but Charles is deeply conservative and does not agree with the fundamental beliefs that underpin democracy.
"The idea that Charles is a diplomatic asset for the UK is laughable. This visit will not protect the UK from Trump's policy decisions, and Charles cannot do anything other than what the government tells him to do.
"Trump will love the chance to cosy up to the royals, and Charles will be of no use in lobbying for special treatment for the UK from Trump."
Trump is expected to arrive in the UK on Tuesday evening and will be met on behalf of the King by US ambassador Warren Stephens.
The US president will then be taken to Windsor Castle's estate, as refurbishment works continue at Buckingham Palace, where he will stay overnight.
On Wednesday, Trump will then meet the Prince and Princess of Wales in the grounds at Windsor Castle before accompanying them to meet the King and Queen for an open-air greeting.
Trump, the King, Camilla, William, and Kate will then take part in a carriage procession through the estate to the castle.
On Thursday, Trump will leave Windsor Castle in the morning and will head to Chequers, the Prime Minister's official country residence, in Buckinghamshire, where he will be greeted with another guard of honour from RAF Halton and bagpipers when he meets Keir Starmer.
The US president will not visit Parliament during his visit.
The protest against Trump's second state visit will start at 2pm on Wednesday at Portland Place in London.
Demonstrators will then march to Parliament Square, where a rally will be held at 5pm.
