Customers left in limbo after UK retailer closes US stores

  • UK-based Wren Kitchens has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in the U.S., resulting in the immediate closure of all 15 American stores and its Home Depot kiosks.

  • These customers are now facing significant financial losses and incomplete kitchens, with no clear path to recovering their money.
  • Under Chapter 7 bankruptcy, customers are considered unsecured creditors and must file a claim with the court, but there is no guarantee they will be reimbursed, as they are at the back of the line for payment.
