Girdle Toll Post Office will reopen next week following an eight-month closure.
Relieved residents will again be able to use their branch within the Key Store from next week.
The branch is set to reopen on Tuesday, June 8 at 10am after closing last October due to a change in ownership.
People can use the service at 89 Burns Crescent instead of making the 20-minute walk to the Bourtreehill Post Office.
Normal opening hours will be Monday to Saturday from 6am to 10pm and Sunday between 7am and 10pm.
Angela Smith, Post Office network provision lead, said: “We are delighted to soon be restoring a Post Office to Girdle Toll, as we know how important Post Office services are to a community.”
