LUCKNOW: A milk vendor and his family members were thrashed by a customer and his aides in Aashiana on Monday evening over a monetary dispute.
The victims, identified as Ram Chandra Yadav and his son Yuvraj, suffered injuries in the attack and were rushed to a hospital. They were discharged later.
Yadav had gone to deliver milk packets to one Saurabh Yadav in New Gudaura locality. Saurabh paid the amount through an app but Yadav claimed he did not receive it.
When Yadav reminded Saurabh about the payment, Saurabh and his friends reached his shop and began abusing him. He declared that he was the ‘don’ of the area and no one dared to remind him about any payment.
“Saurabh and his aides ransacked my shop and thrashed me and my son Yuvraj for opposing them. They hit us with milk trays causing us to bleed through the nose and mouth. My wife Saroj came to our rescue and she was abused too,” said Yadav.
ADCP, east zone, Qasim Abidi, said that police had registered a case and are raiding the hideout of the accused persons.
