Customer left stunned after asking for sausage and chips at 'Irish bar' - before sending it back

A customer was left stunned after asking for sausage and chips at an 'Irish bar' on Thursday.

The man posted a picture of crips with two sausages on a pan and shared his disbelief on social media.

He said on Reddit: "Asked for Sausage and Chips at an Irish Bar/Restaurant on a Cruise. Imposters ."

Sean was asked if he was made to cook it himself and he responded: "That’s what I thought when it came in a bloody pan."

However, he didn't eat the meal and 'sent it back to the kitchen'.

A man named Sean asked for sausage and chips on a cruise at an 'Irish bar' (Reddit)

The fact that the meal was served in a pan took some punters by surprise.

One said: "Ah Jesus I didn't even notice how it was served, an affront in every way."

Another posted:"In a frying pan as well, hahaha."

Another added: "Some craic in that kitchen by the looks of it."

One thought that it should have had the chips with it saying: "You'd think a professional chef would understand that sausages aren't served with a packet of crisps, and it's most likely someone from the UK or Ireland asking for fries.

"Any chef should know that, especially one working in a supposed "Irish" establishment.

"When an American orders fries in an Irish restaurant we don't act like 70IQ morons and go "what are fries?"

One person joked: "Chefs cruising alright."
