Customer discovers awkward typo on her new PrettyLittleThing necklace

Everyone knows that shopping online, although convenient, comes with a potential risk.

Things may not turn out as you'd imagined, but that's often just the chance you take.

Your chosen product might not make you look like the model showcasing the item under consideration - that's life.

But what you don't expect to experience - especially with a high value product - is a basic typo mistake.

However, that's exactly what happened to one unsuspecting shopper, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Model Bella Worlock couldn't believe her eyes after her new necklace turned up with an awkward typo.

Posting on Twitter, the  PrettyLittleTing  customer shared an image of the diamante 'Babygirl' choker necklace she'd ordered from the popular Manchester brand.

Next to the website's image, she revealed the necklace she'd actually received, and it's safe to say the two didn't quite match.

Instead of saying 'Babygirl', Bella's necklace actually read 'Bbbygirl'. Oops.

Writing alongside the pictures, Bella said: "Ordered this from  @OfficialPLT  and this turned up instead .. putting 3 Bs on it."

Responding to the Tweet, PrettyLittleThing wrote: "I'm sorry your order arrived like this doll. Please can you drop us a DM with your order number and we'll sort this out for you."

PrettyLittleThing now appears to have removed the necklace from its website, so if you were hoping to bag your own 'Babygirl' necklace, you might have to shop around.

Bella has also confirmed that after complaining to PrettyLittleThing they issued her with an immediate full refund and also allowed her to keep the necklace.

PrettyLittleThing declined to comment.
