Customer branded a 'freak' as restaurant shares strange way they ate pizza

Perhaps the easiest way to get people riled up about pizza is by putting pineapple on it.

But another habit has got dough-lovers talking this time.

And it's more to do with the way of consuming the pizza, rather than what's on top of it.

A food argument seems to have erupted after a food restaurant in Manchester tweeted a picture of how a customer had left their pizza.

Honest Crust Sourdough Pizza, who feature at Altrincham Market and Mackie Mayor, took to social media to share a picture of the dish.

They wrote: "2020, why do you want to hurt us so much," along with a crying face emoji.

It's fair to say people weren't happy about it.

Many were left outraged by the unknown customer's decision to leave the crust behind.

One person replied: "People who do this should not have pizza."

Another joked: "This customer is a monster," while another agreed, replying: "Just wrong on every possible level. What sort of freak does this?"

One customer said the pizza vendor should offer dipping sauces to avoid this - but it turns out they already do.

Many, many people were shocked by the decision to ditch the crust.

Is this an acceptable way to eat a pizza - have your say in the comments'

One person blasted: "That is a criminal offence. Manhunt in order"

Another suggested that the customer might have been following a Slimming World diet, adding: "Don’t be offended. They’re probably crying as they walked away."

A third advised: "Never trust a person who eats pizza with a knife and fork."

Others defended the move, with one person saying: "What's wrong with it... that's how I eat mine."

Another wrote: "How hard can it be to put tomato sauce and cheese all the way out to the sides? No one wanna eat dry bread... I would do the same with this pizza 4 sure."
