Liverpool team-mates Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott appeared to be involved in a heated exchange during their rampant win over Napoli in the Europa Youth League.
The Reds ran out 7-0 winners as their youngsters put on a show, with Jones scoring a first-half hat-trick and Elliott also impressing.
But they still appeared to clash after Jones netted from the penalty spot to make it 2-0 early on, as he was seen telling his team-mate "shut your mouth!".
As the pair made their way towards the halfway line after the goal, Jones was picked up on the BT Sport cameras shouting at Elliott and putting his finger to his lips to urge the ex-Fulham teenager to stop talking.
Jones appeared to shout: "Oi, Harvey. Shut your mouth or I'll take the next one as well. Shut your mouth", seemingly suggesting a disagreement over who should take the penalty.
He later responded on Instagram, sharing a picture of the two hugging on his story with the caption "This is my lil bradda, brothers always bicker. Thanks for the assist" as he played down the incident.
Elliott replied saying: "Homie" with a love heart and fist bump emoji.
Elliott has made an impression at Anfield since his arrival in the summer, whilst Jones is also enjoying a fine season.
They dominated on either flank as captain Jones left with the matchball plus Luis Longstaff bagged a brace and Jake Cain and Elijah Dixon-Bonner got in on the act.
The result means Liverpool need only a draw away at Red Bull Salzburg in a fortnight to progress to the last 16.
But there still appeared to be some tension between the team-mates, who are both tipped to make an impact in Jurgen Klopp's first team.
The pair have already been in Klopp's plans, impressing in their Carabao Cup thriller against Arsenal with Jones netting the winning penalty after a 5-5 draw.
With the majority of their senior side travelling to Qatar for the FIFA Club World Cup, Jones is set to be handed the captain's armband for their Carabao Cup tie against Aston Villa next month.
Elliott is also set to be in the side with Liverpool hoping their on-field rift will be quickly solved ahead of that game.
