Curtis Jones has labelled the recent criticism aimed at Liverpool after their poor run of games as "crazy".
The midfielder spoke out after the Reds were knocked out of the FA Cup by Chelsea on Tuesday night, marking a third defeat for Jurgen Klopp's men in four games.
After the 2-0 loss at Stamford Bridge the 19-year-old said: "It's crazy to think [that] as soon as the club loses a game or two, everybody starts saying that something is going wrong or the players aren't performing well.
“I would say that every good team has a bit of a blip and that is all this is.
"I've got no doubt that the players will bounce back in the best way possible and put that right in the next few games.

Liverpool have had a remarkable season, remaining undefeated in the league up until last weekend, when Watford beat them 3-0.
They also hit a snag in the Champions League, with Atletico Madrid beating the Reds 1-0 in Spain.
This is before they crashed out of the FA Cup on Tuesday night in the fifth round.
And Jones believes many have been too quick to jump on Liverpool.

The Scouse teenager said: “They have only lost one in the league and one here and everyone starts to point the finger and makes us out to sound like the worst team.
“The boys are still confident and I don't think that we are silly enough to think defeat won't come along the way, that is just part of football.
“Back-to-back defeats like this is definitely one that the boys will learn from and put right in the next game coming up.”
Jones notably scored his first senior goal in sensational style in the FA Cup against Everton , before scoring another against Shrewsbury Town in the following round.
Speaking about the end to Liverpool's FA Cup campaign, Jones said: “It is not good when you are knocked out of any competition, but yes, for me, the FA Cup has been great this season and one that I won't forget.
“I have scored a couple of great goals and I won't forget them. I look forward to the other games that are coming up.
"I am a confident lad and every time I play, I try to be the best I can be. Today wasn't 100 per cent for me, but I think that is just football.
“As I said before, every game I play is an honour and I always try and give my best.
