Curtis Allen pens classy tribute to Glentoran fans following Oval exit

Curtis Allen has penned a special tribute to Glentoran's supporters after his deadline day move.

Allen has joined Coleraine until the end of the season, and has also agreed a two-year pre-contract with the Bannsiders which will see him make the move permanent in the summer.

The 31-year-old joined Glentoran in 2014 and went on to score 110 goals in 232 appearances for the East Belfast club.

Allen is now returning to Coleraine for a second spell - he scored 44 goals across two seasons the last time he was at the Showgrounds.

In a special thank-you post on his social media, Allen said: "To all Glentoran fans.

"Just want to say a massive thanks to all of the fans who have supported me over the last six years!

"From winning the Irish Cup to losing Europa League playoff finals to scoring Boxing Day winners and who could forget that unforgettable debut away to Portadown!

"232 games, 110 goals, I gave my all for the club on and off the pitch!

"I’m so pleased to see Glentoran back competing at the top level again and I wish you all the best for the future!"
