Curtains on Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav in Warangal

Conserving our glorious culture and heritage promotes unity among people, Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan has said.

She was speaking after inaugurating the two-day cultural festival “Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav (RSM)“ in the historic fort city of Warangal on Tuesday.

This Mahotsav is a big opportunity for traditional performing artists and artisans to come under one roof and showcase their talents, she said, adding: “The RSM is a platform for performance and exhibition of rare and near extinct art and craft forms.”

It is a symbol of unity in diversity and cultural harmony. As India is celebrating 75 years of its Independence, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, it is the right opportunity to recall the sacrifices of our freedom-fighters and rededicate ourselves for nation’s building, the Governor said.
