March 05--Curt Schilling isn't satisfied with getting a couple of guys suspended or fired because of their offensive tweets about his daughter.
"I plan to pursue all legal options. Let's just say that," Schilling said in an interview with "CBS This Morning."
In a recent blog post (warning: explicit language), Schilling talked about two college students who responded to his tweet congratulating his daughter for being accepted at Salve Regina University in Rhode Island. The two students responded with vulgar tweets about his daughter.
"This wasn't harmless," Schilling said. "This wasn't a joke. This wasn't some guys having beers and making some fun. These were people that were malicious -- that don't like me -- that tried to destroy my daughter."
The two men -- identified as Adam Nagel of Brookdale Community College and Sean MacDonald of Montclair State Unversity -- were disciplined. MacDonald, who was a part-time ticket seller for the New York Yankees, was fired and Nagel has been suspended from school. Schilling says he knows of seven others who were also punished for their tweets. He has also been contacted by the FBI and local law enforcement about possible criminal charges.
"This will follow them the rest of their lives," Schilling said. "And for some of these guys, I'll make sure it does."
