Currys PC World makes big changes to deliveries during coronavirus outbreak

Currys PC World has given an update on its stores across the UK following the coronavirus outbreak.

It has been confirmed on social media that all stores would be temporarily closed following guidance from the government.

However customers can still order products online and have it delivered to their doors with contact-free delivery.

In a statement the store says: “We’re still open for delivery online.

“We’re offering contact-free delivery on all orders, so we can continue to bring amazing tech into your homes safely. Our install services have also been updated”.

This means all installation services will be suspended except electric and gas cooker appliances.

However they’ve told customers that delivery times may be longer than usual due to high demand on the website.

If you have a Click & Collect order that was ready to be picked up in store, your order will be cancelled and you will receive a refund, the store has confirmed, adding that customers can re-order the item online for home delivery.

They’ve also stated that any products in for repair will be delivered back, and to wait to be contacted by Currys PC World.
