The music community was left in shock and sadness on Sunday night as news spread that ascending artist, Nipsey Hussle, who had just recently been nominated for a Grammy, was shot and killed outside of his clothing store in Los Angeles.
The shooting, which also left two other men injured, seemed to be foreshadowed by Hussle just hours before it went down.
A popular entertainer among athletes, Hussle was close with several NFL players, including more than a handful of current and former members of the New York Giants.
In the wake of his passing, they expressed their shock, sadness, mourning and prayers via social media.

Hussle, whose real name was Ermias Asghedom, was just 33 years old.
