Cumbernauld United make double signing swoop

Cumbernauld United chairman George Watson has spoken about his delight at bringing in striker Dylan Henry and defender Jordan Kennedy.

Henry comes in from East Kilbride Under-20s and has also spent time with Clyde at that age level.

Kennedy has arrived at Guy's Meadow from Clydebank, following a lengthy battle for his signature.

George said: "Dylan Henry came highly recommended, and he’s got youth and enthusiasm. I think he will bring something to the party, so I'm delighted to get him on board.

“We hope he will get a lot of goals. He’s got youth, legs and pace, and he will hopefully get his chance. Hopefully he will be a good addition to the squad. He’s a good young boy.

“He played for East Kilbride under-20s last year and he’s been with Clyde under-20s as well. He has good potential.

“We’ve also signed Jordan Kennedy, a centre-half from Clydebank, he’s ex-Pollok, and he will be a very good addition to our squad.

“Jordan is a Cumbernauld boy, which helps, and we’ve been trying to get that one over the line with Clydebank for the last six weeks. We’re delighted to get him involved.”
