Cumbernauld Colts' Scottish Cup clash moved after FOUR call-offs

Cumbernauld Colts’ Scottish Cup match against Huntly this evening has been moved to Balmoral Park.

The first round clash had been postponed on FOUR separate occasions due to adverse weather conditions in the Highlands.

We reported earlier in the week that the Colts had suggested to the SFA to reverse the fixture so it could be played at Broadwood but an alternative has now been found.

Cove Rangers have allowed Huntly to use their stadium to host the clash after their home pitch, at Christie Park, remained frozen and unplayable.

James Orr’s side will travel to Aberdeenshire tonight for an 8pm kick-off.

The winners have been drawn away to Dumbarton in the next round which is scheduled for Saturday.
