Culture select committee latest: 600 funding rejections to come

Arts Council England will have £3m to look after libraries compared with the £13m that the MLA had. And Liz Forgan, ACE's chair, said she was "not ruling out" selling works from the Arts Council Collection, which is loaned out to galleries nationwide, but said it should only happen to maintain the collection itself, "not to pay the rent".
