"Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life." It's not very often Confucius makes it into the Culture Pros Network pages, but the man did speak some truth – securing that dream job can be one of the most rewarding experiences of your entire life.
Of course it's easier said than done, particularly so in this financial climate, which is why we're proud to announce a new arts and culture careers project launching in the new year. We're keeping a tight lid on things for now, but what we can say is that we need your help, as it's you, the arts and culture pros, who have been there, done that and got the payslip.
All we're asking for are a few careers tips from you to share with the community. Simply write for us below what piece (or pieces) of advice you'd give a budding arts and culture careerist. It can be about anything from CVs and job interviews to career changes and going freelance. Practical or motivational, long or short – there are no restrictions.
