Cultural Capital episode 9: watch our show on the best of London’s arts and culture

Welcome to the new edition of Cultural Capital, the show in which we pack the best of London’s culture into ten easy, breezy minutes.

This week, we try to find out what it means to be happy in a new pair of exhibitions at the Wellcome Collection, and we talk to the Tottenham community activist Stafford Scott and his daughter Kamara, who have co-curated a new exhibition at the ICA about black resistance to racism in the UK.

We’re peeking naughtily through a keyhole at the Wallace Collection for Thing of the Week, and I’ll be reviewing Summer of Soul (...Or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised) - an incredible music documentary stuffed with unseen footage from one of the most epic music festivals ever held. BB King? Stevie Wonder? Nina Simone? The Staples Sisters? Mahalia Jackson, for heaven’s sake? How did we not know about this?
