Cultural Capital episode 21: watch our weekly show on the best of London’s arts and culture

Welcome to the newest edition of Cultural Capital, our weekly YouTube show where we pick the best of London’s incredible arts and culture.

This week, we’ll be exploring the amazing new exhibition of props and artwork from Wes Anderson’s charming, colourful movie The French Dispatch, now on display at 180 The Strand as the film is released in cinemas.

We’re also visiting the brand new Second World War and Holocaust Galleries at the Imperial War Museum, following a £30.7 million project that brings together more than 1,500 items and personal stories from over 80 countries over two full floors, to tell the story of a global conflict on an unprecedented scale.

We’re going to the Glasgow Palace Theatre of Varieties - via the V&A - for our Thing of the Week, and I’ll be reviewing the biggest movie of the year (except for that other one, you know, the spy thing), Denis Villeneuve’s adaptation of Frank Herbert’s sprawling 1965 space epic, Dune. Well, part one anyway. Yes, it’s the Timothée Chalamet show this week, and none the worse for that. Thanks for watching!
