Cudworth crash: Two men, aged 18 and 24, killed after car and bus collide

A teenager and a man have died after a car and bus collided in a horror crash.

The pair, aged 18 and 24, were killed when a black VW Golf they were in crashed with the double-decker bus in Cudworth, Barnsley.

The bus driver suffered minor injuries during the incident on Sunday night.

South Yorkshire Police are now appealing for witnesses and have asked anyone who may have seen what happened to get in touch.

A spokesperson said: "It is believed that two other vehicles were in the area at the time and left the scene following the collision.

"We would like to speak to anyone who saw the collision, or captured any footage on a dash cam or CCTV.

"Officers are also keen to hear from anyone who saw what happened immediately prior to the collision."
