AP Photos

The Cubs and White Sox are refunding ticket holders for games that were scheduled from Opening Day March 26 through May 31.

Season ticket holders for both teams also have the option of receiving a 5 percent bonus on money being held and putting it toward purchasing 2020 tickets, potential 2020 postseason tickets or the 2021 season.

Sox season ticket holders have the option of receiving credit for paid tickets, parking and Huntington Bank Stadium Club passes as well as the 5% bonus credit for games through May 31. Fans who purchased individual tickets for Sox home games through the end of May received notification from Ticketmaster Wednesday providing the opportunity to request refunds. The Cubs also emailed their policy to ticket holders.

Major League Baseball cleared teams to offer refunds for games postponed by the coronavirus Wednesday.
