CHICAGO _ Kyle Schwarber hit two home runs, a triple and drove in four Thursday to help the Cubs to their 11th win in 13 games since the All-Star break, 6-3 against the White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field.
The Cubs won the season series 3-1 and swept a series between the teams for the seventh time since interleague play began in 1997.
The White Sox, meanwhile, lost for the 12th time in 13 games since the break.
Schwarber connected off White Sox starter Mike Pelfrey for a two-run homer in the fourth to give the Cubs a 3-1 lead. Anthony Rizzo led off the inning with a home run to tie the game at 1.
Willy Garcia and Jose Abreu each hit solo home runs off Cubs starter Jon Lester, who allowed four hits a walk and struck out four while throwing 97 pitches in seven innings.
Abreu hit another solo home run in the ninth inning, the eighth multi-homer game of his career.
After allowing 80 first-inning runs in 88 games, the Cubs have not allowed one in their last 13.
The Cubs (54-47) moved to a season-high seven games over .500, while the White Sox (39-60) fell to a season-worst 21 under.
The Cubs take a 1 { lead of the Central Division to Milwaukee where they have a three-game series against the Brewers.
