CHICAGO _ Cubs starter Yu Darvish was placed on the 10-day disabled list before Saturday's game with right triceps tendinitis.
Darvish, the $126 million free-agent signee, is coming off his first win of the season and was slated to start Sunday night's game against the Giants.
The Cubs will move Tyler Chatwood into Sunday's start and recall lefty reliever Randy Rosario from Triple-A Iowa.
Darvish has struggled in his first season with the Cubs, going 1-3 with a 4.95 earned-run average. This is his second DL stint, after missing time with the flu earlier this month.
