The Cubs liked David Rollins so much they went back for seconds.
The left-handed reliever, who has been claimed on waivers five times since the Cubs originally claimed him from the Mariners on Nov. 18, is back with the North Siders, according to multiple reports.
Rollins, 27, also was picked up and released twice by the Rangers and once by the Phillies during that span.
The 6-foot-1, 210-pounder is 1-2 with a 7.60 ERA in 341/3 big league innings spanning two seasons. He struck out 21 in 25 innings in 2015.
Before the 2015 season, Rollins was suspended for 80 games by Major League Baseball after testing positive for the banned substance Stanozolol, a performance-enhancing drug.
