MILWAUKEE _ The Cubs staged another dramatic 10-inning victory over the Brewers on Friday night as pinch-hitter Tommy La Stella drew a bases-loaded walk to score Kris Bryant with the winning run for a 5-4 win.
The Cubs reduced their magic number for clinching the National League Central title to five. Stephen Vogt and Brett Phillips hit back-to-back home runs with two outs in the second to vault the Brewers to a 3-0 lead, but the Cubs chipped away to take a 4-3 lead on Ben Zobrist's two-run single with two outs in the fifth.
