The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a notification saying that the revised date for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2018 is December 9, 2018. The examination was earlier scheduled to be held on September 16 but was changed due to delay in start of the application process.
The application process for the examination closed on Monday (August 27) and the last date for the submission of fee is August 30 till 3.30pm. The final verification of payment of fee by the candidates can be done till September 4. Candidates will be allowed to make online corrections in the particulars uploaded by them from September 6 to September 10. No corrections will be allowed under any circumstance after this date.

The CTET exam has two papers. Paper I is for those interested in teaching classes 1 to 5. Paper II is for those who wish to teach classes 6 to 8. In case an applicant wants to teach both levels, they will be required to sit for both paper I and II. All questions in the CTET test are multiple choice questions. There is no negative marking.
