Upgraded grenade sounds and spectator loadout feature
Valve has introduced unique, high-fidelity sound effects for every grenade action, including drawing, inspecting, pulling the pin, and throwing. These polished audio cues help to make the game more immersive and can give you an extra edge in competitive play.

Moreover, spectators can now inspect your teammates’ full loadouts. This means that once you’re out of the round, you can check out other players’ weapon skins, gear, and equipment in detail. It’s a fun feature that adds a new layer of interaction for players on the sidelines.
New scripting tools for map creators
For the mapmaking community, Valve has rolled out a JavaScript-based scripting system. This gives creators more flexibility and options when designing custom maps and gameplay features.
An example map called script_zoo.vmap is included, which lets you experiment and see the new system in action, paving the way for better community creations in the future.
