Crystal Ski has confirmed plans to restart France ski holidays this month, as the country has lifted its travel ban for Brits.
Following the announcement that France was easing its restrictions, Crystal Ski saw a surge of bookings, and noted a record sales day with bookings way ahead of pre-pandemic levels. In fact, 65% of those bookings were France holidays with departures in January.
Now, the TUI-owned travel firm has announced plans to resume its holidays to the hotspot from January 22, including popular resorts such as La Plagne and Val Thorens.
It revealed the news in a short statement on its website explaining: "We’re pleased to say that the France ban on UK travellers has now been lifted and we’ll be operating our holidays to France from 22nd January 2022. Our teams are excited to welcome you to the mountains."
The company also said it would be updating its travel and local COVID-19 requirements on the Travel with Confidence hub which would be available shortly.

France banned Brits from visiting for non-essential reasons back in December, due to concerns over the spread of the Omicron variant.
However as of today (January 14) it is once again welcoming back fully vaccinated UK travellers for non-essential reasons such as holidays, and scrapping a requirement for UK visitors to self-isolate on arrival.
It's worth noting that there are still entry rules in place, such as needing needing proof of a negative Covid test result taken within 24 hours of before arrival in France.
People aged 12 and over will needa “pass sanitaire” in order to access services and venues such as bars, restaurants, museums, cinemas, hospitals, retirement homes and modes of transport such as long distance train and bus journeys and planes.
This can be acquired if you have proof of full vaccination, a negative PCR or antigen test taken within the last 24 hours, or a document showing proof of recovery from Covid.
Meanwhile from January 15, anyone aged 18-64 who have been fully vaccinated for more than seven months will need to demonstrate they have received an approved COVID-19 booster injection to get the 'pass sanitaire'.
Unvaccinated UK travellers will still be required to show proof of an essential reason for visiting France, and will need to self-isolate for 10 days upon arrival.
According to the UK Foreign Office website, face masks remain mandatory in all enclosed public spaces in France, as well as markets, public transport and stadiums.
