Adam Wharton has returned from injury to start for Crystal Palace against Manchester City in the FA Cup final today.
The England midfielder was absent from the Eagles’ 2-0 win over Tottenham in the Premier League last Sunday due to an ankle injury which had forced him off in the 1-1 draw at home to Nottingham Forest on May 5.

Palace boss Oliver Glasner revealed in his pre-match press conference on Friday that Wharton had trained all week and would be available to play at Wembley.
Elsewhere, the Eagles have not suffered any other fresh injuries and so have only two players unavailable for the final: long-term absentees Chadi Riad and Cheick Doucoure, who are both out until the summer with serious knee injuries.
The vast majority of Glasner’s team picked itself, but he had a decision to make in terms of who partners Wharton in the midfield double pivot.
Daichi Kamada gets the nod after impressing in the semi-final win over Aston Villa. Ebere Eze returns up top next to Jean-Philippe Mateta and Ismaila Sarr, with the usual back three of Marc Guehi, Mexence Lacroix, and Chris Richards at the foundation.
Joel Ward makes an appearance on the bench as he looks to close out his Crystal Palace career with a piece of silverware.
