Crystal Palace XI vs Leeds: Confirmed early team news, predicted lineup, latest injuries for Premier League

Roy Hodgson will today be without a trio of defenders when his Crystal Palace side face Leeds United this weekend, with Tyrick Mitchell, James Tomkins and Joel Ward all sidelined.

Tomkins has been working to return to fitness but suffered a setback in his recovery having rejoined training.

Palace will also be without club captain Luka Milivojevic after they failed in their appeal against his red card in their defeat against Wolves.

Milivojevic has been further down the pecking order at Palace this season, and his absence will give Jairo Riedewald - named Palace player of the month for October - the chance to further establish himself having been on the fringes for almost two years.

"I think it is amazing persistence, we're really proud of him and delighted for him," Hodgson said. "He has always done well in training, never really let anyone down it is just the fact that competition in midfield means places have been given to other people.

"He has kept working and I do think he has improved over that period of time."

Predicted XI (4-4-2): Guaita; Clyne, Kouyate, Cahill, Van Aanholt; Townsend, McArthur, Riedewald, Schlupp; Zaha, Batshuayi
