Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson could be forced to reunite his defensive partnership from the past two seasons at Burnley this weekend.
With a knee injury to Gary Cahill being assessed before the squad travel north on Friday afternoon, Hodgson could turn to Mamadou Sakho, who featured for the U23s this week as he returns to match fitness, and James Tomkins to keep the Clarets out.
Meanwhile, Martin Kelly is set for at least a month in the side as he steps in for Joel Ward after Palace's only natural right-back suffered a serious knee injury which will keep him out until the New Year, when the club will look to bring in cover.
Jordan Ayew is likely to continue his run leading the line, though after two goals for Belgium during the international break and an impressive showing off the bench against Liverpool, Christian Benteke is pushing for a start as he looks to revive his Palace career.

Predicted Crystal Palace XI (4-3-3): Guaita; Kelly, Sakho, Tomkins, Van Aanholt; Milivojevic, Kouyate, McArthur; Townsend, Zaha, Ayew.
