Jairo Riedewald will be handed his first Premier League start since for almost two years when Crystal Palace host Brighton on Monday.
The Dutchman will fill in for the injured Patrick van Aanholt and Jeffrey Schlupp, with neither player handed a return date as of yet.
Riedewald, who replaced Schlupp (hip) at half-time against Watford, has not started a top-flight game since a 1-0 defeat to Tottenham in February 2018.
The versatile defender did not play a single minute in the League last season.
Palace boss Roy Hodgson said he may be without one or two more first-team players against Brighton, but would not reveal their identity.
"Those two [Schlupp and Van Aanholt] won’t be available," said Hodgson. "Joel Ward is of course not available.
"Certainly those [are sidelined]. Unfortunately there are one or two others who might get added but I’m not willing to discuss that now."
Mamadou Sakho remains suspended following his red card against Bournemouth.

Predicted Crystal Palace XI (4-3-3): Guaita; Kelly, Tomkins, Cahill, Riedewald; Milivojevic, Kouyate, McArthur; Townsend, Zaha, Ayew.
