Crystal Palace XI vs Bournemouth: Confirmed team news, predicted lineup, latest injuries for Carabao Cup match

Roy Hodgson could hand Eberechi Eze a full Crystal Palace debut when the Eagles travel to Bournemouth in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.

The 22-year-old came off the bench for his first appearance in Saturday's win over Southampton, but will be itching to be named in the starting XI on the south coast.

Fellow summer signing Michy Batshuayi, who was an unused substitute on the opening day of the season, could also make his second debut for the club having once more joined on loan from Chelsea.

Hodgson cannot rotate too much at the back given his stack of injuries. Mamadou Sakho returned to training last week but the cup tie may come too soon for the Frenchman, meaning youngster Sam Woods could get his chance.

Having played throughout pre-season in his preferred midfield role, Dutchman Jairo Riedewald will hope to make a good impression should he be given the chance.

Predicted Crystal Palace XI (4-4-2): Hennessey; Ward, Woods, Kouyate, Mitchell; Townsend, Riedewald, McCarthy, Meyer; Eze, Batshuayi
