Crystal Palace XI vs Arsenal: Zaha out - Confirmed lineup, team news, injury latest for Premier League

Patrick Vieira has no Wilfried Zaha for tonight’s game with Arsenal.

The 8pm kick-off comes after an international break which had appeared to treat the Eagles kindly, with no stars returning home injured according to the manager. However, Zaha will miss the match through illness with Christian Benteke starting.

Michael Olise’s impressive turn off the bench against Leicester last time out had seen the youngster push for a spot in the starting XI for the first time at Emirates Stadium.

Speaking ahead of the game, Vieira suggested that he could stick with the set of stars he has relied upon during his first few weeks at Palace.

“We had all the players back from internationals with no issues, so they are all fit and ready to go,” he said.

“I think the majority of the players went to international [duty] and they played 90-minutes, some a little bit less.

“So they will have time to recover, and they will be ready for the game on Monday.”

Vieira had confirmed that Eberechi Eze and Nathan Ferguson are making progress in their returns from long injury lay-offs but neither will be fit for Monday’s game.

Crystal Palace confirmed XI: Guaita; Ward, Andersen, Guehi, Mitchell; Gallagher, Milivojevic, McArthur; Benteke, Edouard, Ayew.

Subs: Butland, Tomkins, Kelly, Clyne, Kouyate, Hughes, Schlupp, Olise, Mateta.

Arsenal confirmed XI: Ramsdale; Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tierney; Smith Rowe, Partey, Odegaard; Saka, Aubameyang, Pepe.

Subs: Leno, Holding, Maitland-Niles, Cedric, Tavares, Elneny, Sambi, Martinelli, Lacazette.

Monday 8.00pm BST, Sky Sports

Venue: Emirates Stadium
