Crystal Palace vs Watford
Premier League 2018-19
Venue: Selhurst Park
Date: Saturday, January 12, 2019
Kick-off: 3pm GMT
Crystal Palace will look to continue their climb up the table when they take on Watford in Saturday afternoon.
Palace have won three of their last five Premier League games leading into a crucial January transfer window where Roy Hodgson will be desperate for reinforcements.
Watford are without a win in their last three but sit comfortably in eighth place ahead of kick off.
Team news
Crystal Palace defender Pape Souare is set for around two months of recovery following an operation on his dislocated shoulder.
Senegal full-back Souare suffered the injury during Saturday's FA Cup tie against Grimsby.
The club released a statement saying he had undergone a "successful operation", adding "the plan is for him to return to training in around two months' time".
Christian Benteke has returned to training after his knee injury but is still working his way back towards full fitness.
For Watford, Christian Kabasele and Andre Gray returned to training from their respective injury lay-offs on Thursday, but the game against Palace may have arrived too soon for the duo to feature.
Score prediction: Crystal Palace 0-0 Watford
Palace have been resolute in the back as of late and have kept clean sheets in three of their last four matches. The may have enough to keep Watford out, but finding goals themselves could remain an issue.
