Harry Kane scored twice in five second-half minutes and Heung-min Son ended his goal drought as Tottenham cruised to a 4-0 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park to lift the mood at the club.
It did not look like being such a comfortable night at the halfway stage, Spurs very much under the cosh heading into the break as they put in a timid display that was painfully familiar for their fans. Jordan Ayew and Joachim Andersen both went close to putting the Eagles in front.
That all changed after the break though, as the visitors ran riot. Kane got them up and running with a quickfire brace, before Matt Doherty extended the advantage and Son scored his first Premier League goal since September to cap a perfect night for Antonio Conte’s side and give them a first win since the World Cup.
