Crystal Palace vs Man City LIVE
Manchester City responded to Arsenal’s dramatic late win against Wolves by beating Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. Arsenal moved five points clear at the top of the Premier League by beating Wolves 2-1 on Saturday but Pep Guardiola’s side won what was a repeat of last season’s FA Cup final.
Palace came out on top at Wembley in May and the Eagles are having another brilliant season under Oliver Glasner, but City came out on top of a tricky trip to south London knowing they could ill-afford a slip-up in their bid to hunt down title rivals Arsenal.
City were on a high after their 2-1 Champions League win over Real Madrid in midweek and the game marked the start of a crucial period in the title race. Follow the game LIVE below with our dedicated match blog, featuring expert insight and analysis from Sam Tabuteau at Selhurst Park.

13:50 , Giuseppe MuroCrystal Palace are winless in their last seven Premier League games against Manchester City.

Oliver Glasner has also been speaking ahead of kick-off and the Crystal Palace boss has welcomed the return of Ismaila Sarr.
Glasner said: “It gives us more pace in our attack and more runs in behind. It could help us massively against City.
“I expect them to have more possession but on the other side giving us space in behind and that is Ismaila’s biggest strength. So it is good to have him back.”
Pep Guardiola has been speaking to Sky Sports ahead of kick-off and the Manchester City boss was asked to explain Jeremy Doku’s absence.
“Leg injury,” he said.
No more detail than that at this stage.
Pep Guardiola was unable to attend Manchester City's pre-match press conference, but he is with the squad as expected at Selhurst Park.

Sam Tabuteau at Selhurst Park
13:00 , Giuseppe MuroMassive boost for Crystal Palace as Ismaila Sarr is fit enough to start.
Jean-Philippe Mateta has also passed a late fitness test, having been rested against Shelbourne.
Jeremy Doku has been one of Manchester City’s best performers this season and his absence is a huge blow.
So there is no Jeremy Doku in the Manchester City squad.
Tijjani Reijnders comes in for Doku in the only change to the City XI from Wednesday's Champions League win at Real Madrid.
Crystal Palace are boosted by the fitness of Ismaila Sarr after an ankle issue.
Nathaniel Clyne continues to deputise to Daniel Munoz at right wing-back.

Man City out to avenge FA Cup final defeat
12:33 , Giuseppe MuroManchester City will bid to avenge their loss in last season's FA Cup final this afternoon.
The Eagles stunned Pep Guardiola's side at Wembley in May, winning 1-0 to deny them some consolation after underwhelming Premier League and Champions League campaigns.
Oliver Glasner's team have built on that success since and were fourth in the table heading into this weekend's round of fixtures.
City are still lacking the consistency they have become famed for in recent years but they are now back firmly in the title picture and claimed a memorable victory at Real Madrid in midweek.
Assistant manager Kolo Toure believes Palace will find them a different proposition this time.
Toure said: "The team still plays the football that they used to play but one thing they have more is aggression, the fighting for the second balls for example.
"We know the Premier League it is a very physical league. Having the ball is top but when you don't have it, you have to fight. That's the difference from last season.
"The team is growing. It is getting better every single game, every single day and that's what we want. We are growing and let's see where we're going to be at the end of the season."

Head to head history and results
12:12 , Giuseppe MuroThese two teams played out a 2-2 draw at Selhurst Park last season, with Manchester City winning 5-2 at the Etihad and Crystal Palace winning the FA Cup final 1-0 at Wembley.
Crystal Palace wins: 18
Man City wins: 39
Draws: 17
Prediction
12:04 , Giuseppe MuroThis could easily be one of the highlights of the Premier League weekend as two confident, in-form teams do battle.
A clash with Manchester City will hold absolutely no fears for Oliver Glasner and Palace, who may boast a lingering psychological advantage following their Wembley heroics in May.
Injuries are an issue at the moment though and the Eagles will have wanted both Sarr and Mateta fully fit for this test.
City have quickly recovered from those pair of successive defeats by Newcastle and Bayer Leverkusen late last month and been scoring for fun of late during a statement run of wins, with the record-breaking Erling Haaland at the forefront as usual.
However, a wild 5-4 victory at Fulham showed there are certainly defensive frailties to be exposed.
Palace have been much better away this season than at home, while it has been a decade since they beat City in the league at Selhurst. Their only two victories in the last 20 iterations of this fixture were both at the Etihad Stadium.
Man City to win, 3-1.
Man City team news
11:54 , Giuseppe MuroRodri is still missing for Manchester City, with Mateo Kovacic and John Stones also definitely out.
Pep Guardiola named an unchanged team to the one that brushed aside Sunderland for the midweek victory at Real Madrid in the Champions League, and there is certainly an element of if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it for City at the moment amid a four-match winning streak across all competitions.
Dutch midfielder Tijjani Reijnders will be among those pushing for a start against high-flying Palace in a repeat of last season’s FA Cup final, while Savinho, Omar Marmoush and Oscar Bobb are all decent alternatives in attack.
Crystal Palace team news
11:45 , Giuseppe MuroCrystal Palace have been hit hard by injuries and Oliver Glasner took just 15 senior players to Thursday’s Conference League clash with Irish side Shelbourne.
Daniel Munoz is out for four to six weeks out as he prepares for surgery on a knee problem, while Ismaila Sarr is struggling with an ankle ligament injury.
Glasner is being cautious with Jean-Philippe Mateta’s fitness following a knee issue. Jaydee Canvot has been battling illness, with Cheick Doucoure, Chadi Riad and Caleb Kporha all still out.
