Crystal Palace vs Cardiff City
Premier League 2018/19
Venue: Selhurst Park
Date: Boxing Day, 2018
Kick-off time: 3pm GMT
Crystal Palace are riding high on confidence as they host Cardiff City on Boxing Day fresh off the back of a shock win at Manchester City.
Few if any expected Palace to trouble City at the Etiad Stadium on Saturday, but Roy Hodgson's Eagles secured a stunning 3-2 win as Andros Townsend scored a goal-of-the-season contender to shock the Premier League champions.
While three points against Pep Guardiola's ;title chasers were more than welcome after Palace's struggles this season, the win will count for little if they fail to follow it up with victory against a Cardiff side which was dismantled 5-1 at home by Manchester United.

Team news
Goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey (back) and midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate are expected to return for Crystal Palace. Full-back Martin Kelly (adductor) is doubtful but has not yet been ruled out by manager Roy Hodgson and will be assessed.
Striker Christian Benteke (knee) remains on the sidelines but is making encouraging progress and could return in the coming weeks.
Provisional squad: Hennessey, Guaita, Speroni, Wan-Bissaka, Tomkins, Sakho, Van Aanholt, Dann, Souare, Riedewald, Townsend, Kouyate, McArthur, Meyer, Milivojevic, Puncheon, Schlupp, Ayew, Kaikai, Sorloth, Wickham, Zaha.
Joe Bennett could be back in the mix for Cardiff. The full-back missed Saturday's 5-1 home defeat against Manchester United after being forced off at Watford the previous weekend, but Cardiff boss Neil Warnock says that he has returned to training.
Danny Ward is out, though, while Jazz Richards has been battling to overcome a hamstring problem.
Provisional squad: Etheridge, Smithies, Peltier, Richards, Bennett, Morrison, Manga, Connolly, Cunningham, Bamba, Arter, Ralls, Gunnarsson, Damour, Camarasa, Harris, Hoilett, Paterson, Reid, Murphy, Zohore, Mendez-Laing, Madine.
