Crystal Palace vs Brighton
Premier League 2018-19
Venue: Selhurst Park
Date: Saturday, 9 March, 2019
Kick-off: 12:30pm GMT

The M23 derby returns as Crystal Palace and Brighton battle for the Premier League points that could go some way in securing their Premier League survival.

Roy Hodgson's Palace have been in impressive form, with three wins in their last five League games helping the Eagles to climb eight points above the relegation places with nine games remaining.

Chris Hughton's Seagulls, meanwhile, hover five points above the drop zone, and a win would go a long way to securing their top-flight status given Cardiff - who sit 18th - have lost their last three.

Crystal Palace team news and predicted line-up

Palace's only absentees are Pape Souare and Mamadou Sakho.

Souare is on the mend from a dislocated shoulder, while Sakho is out for the forseeable future following knee surgery.

Crystal Palace XI: Hennessey, Wan Bissaka, Dann, Tomkins, Van Aanholt, Meyer, Kouyate, Milivojevic, Schlupp, Batshuayi, Zaha

As for Brighton, Pascal Gross (thigh) is out along with Jason Steele (wrist), but Leon Balogun (shoulder) could return.

Brighton XI: Ryan, Montoya, Duffy, Dunk, Bong, Bissouma, Stephens, Propper, Knockaert, Murray, March

Score prediction: Crystal Palace 1-1 Brighton

Both sets of fans would relish getting a result which could help relegate their rivals, but a score draw looks a likely option with neither team desperate enough to risk a win at the expense of a point.

Palace will be more confident of having a go given their eight-point gap from the relegation zone, but the second half should be a tight affair.
