Crystal Palace transfer latest: Eagles fighting off Wilfried Zaha interest with four new arrivals possible

It has been a difficult window for Crystal Palace, with the futures of star duo Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Wilfried Zaha dominating discussions.

After selling Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United for £50million, Palace are under no pressure to cash in on Zaha and will fight hard to resist late interest from Everton.

The Eagles want £80m for the Ivorian and are reluctant to do a deal now with so little time to find a replacement.

The club are likely to be busy before the window shuts and as many as four new players could come in, starting with Everton midfielder James McCarthy.

Another midfielder could also arrive, namely Victor Camarasa, of Real Betis, and Palace want to add a forward, too, with RB Leipzig’s Jean-Kevin Augustin, CSKA Moscow’s Fedor Chalov and Brentford’s Ollie Watkins all options.

A new right-back is also needed, but the club recently missed out to Monaco for Ruben Aguilar.

One possible departure is Connor Wickham, who is wanted by several Championship clubs.

Crystal Palace summer ins and outs

In: Jordan Ayew (Swansea, £2.5m), Gary Cahill (Chelsea, free); Stephen Henderson (free, Nottingham Forest).

Out: Aaron Wan-Bissaka (Manchester United, £50m); Bakary Sako (Denizlispor, free), Alexander Sorloth (Trabzonspor, loan); Jason Puncheon, Julian Speroni (both released); Pape Souare (Troyes, free).
