Crystal Palace team news vs Burnley confirmed: Ayew, Milivojevic replace McArthur and Edouard

Patrick Vieira has made two changes to his Crystal Place team for their trip to Turf Moor today to take on Burnley.

James McArthur (hamstring) misses his first Premier League game of the season, with Luka Milivojevic taking his place in midfield as a result.

Cheikhou Kouyate keeps his place in the middle after a strong showing against Wolves last time out, while Conor Gallagher also plays in the centre of the pitch following his first senior England cap on Monday night against San Marino.

In attack, Christian Benteke starts up front having scored for Belgium during their 3-1 win over Estonia in the international break.

Wilfried Zaha and Jordan Ayew play on the wings, with the latter restored to the starting XI after being put on the bench against Wolves last time out.

At the back, Vicente Guaita returns in goal after recording a Crystal Palace record 29th Premier League clean sheet in his previous outing.

Joachim Andersen is fit enough to start at centre-back once again following a slight injury that kept him out of the latest Denmark squad - he plays alongside Marc Guehi at the heart of the Eagles defence.

Full-backs Tyrick Mitchell and Joel Ward also return, making this the 11th Premier League match in a row that Vieira has named the same back four.

The Frenchman has also picked a strong bench for the trip to Turf Moor that features Odsonne Edouard, Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze, the latter of whom is making his first appearance in a Palace matchday squad since May.

Crystal Palace XI: Guaita, Mitchell, Andersen, Guehi, Ward, Kouyate, Milivojevic, Gallagher, Zaha, Edouard, Ayew.
