Crystal Palace team news vs Brighton confirmed as Michael Olise starts again for Eagles

Patrick Vieira has made one change to his Crystal Palace team for tonight's Premier League match against Brighton at the Amex.

The Frenchman's biggest decision tonight was with his front three and he has opted for Odsonne Edouard to lead the line in place of Jean-Philippe Mateta.

Michael Olise is rewarded for his excellent showing last time out against Millwall in the FA Cup and keeps his place on the right wing, while Ebere Eze starts on the left wing.

At the back, Jack Butland returns in goal after starting against the Lions, with Vicente Guaita being named on the bench.

Joachim Andersen and Marc Guehi are the preferred centre-back pairing once again, though cover for those two is particularly light thanks to James Tomkins' recent injury.

Joel Ward stays in the team and takes the armband at right-back, while Tyrick Mitchell gets the nod on the left side once again.

In midfield, Conor Gallagher is starting his first Premier League game since Boxing Day, while the resurgent Will Hughes stays alongside him.

Jeffrey Schlupp completes the midfield trio, with he and Eze likely to rotate between them getting forward and helping out in midfield.

Crystal Palace XI: Butland, Mitchell, Guehi, Andersen, Ward, Hughes, Gallagher, Schlupp, Edouard, Schlupp, Olise.

Substitutes: Guaita, Kelly, Clyne, Ferguson, Riedewald, Milivojevic, Rak-Sakyi, Mateta, Benteke.
