Crystal Palace star Odsonne Edouard hails ex-Celtic teammate, but warns that he's in for a fight in Arsenal clashes

Crystal Palace striker Odsonne Edouard has hailed Arsenal and Scotland star Kieran Tierney, but warns he's in for a 'fight' when the London sides clash in the Premier League this season.

Edouard and Tierney were teammates at Celtic Park and helped them win the Scottish Premiership title in 2018 and 2019.

Muirhouse man Tierney left for London two years ago and has made the left-back slot his own at the Emirates, while Edouard moved to Selhurst Park on deadline day, and has made a major impact already, netting on his debut.

When asked if Tierney was a good player, Edouard told UMM YouTube channel: "Yeah! He's very good.

"I had the chance to play with him for two years and I enjoyed it.

"He makes a big impact on the left-hand side. He gave me a lot of assists, so it was good.

"But for 90 minutes it's a game, it's a fight, but I'll speak with him after, for sure, because he's still my friend."
