Crystal Palace player ratings vs West Ham: Jordan Ayew's wondergoal seals super comeback win

Vicente Guaita

A couple of routine stops from Antonio in the first half but did have one hairy moment when he dropped a simple cross at Snodgrass's feet. Couldn't do anything with Snodgrass's goal.  Not much else to do. 6

Martin Kelly

Barely had anything to do in the opening 45 minutes up against Pablo Fornals.  Just a comfortable game all round against a fairly impotent Hammers side. One of his more comfortable Boxing Day's. 6

Mamadou Sakho

Comfortably dealt with Sebastien Haller and Michail Antonio in the first half as the Hammers posed little threat going forward. 7

James Tomkins

Not troubled whatsoever by Haller or Antonio but was carved open by Antonio's pass that led to Snodgrass's opener. Marked Haller out of the game. 7

Patrick Van Aanholt

Sloppy in possession in the early going but defensively, he wasn't troubled whatsoever in the first period. His passing was well off and one such errant pull back led to him seemingly pulling his hamstring just before the hour. 5

Cheikhou Kouyate

The former Hammer had a comfortable first 45 minutes and certainly wasn't stretched. Very good finish to level the game in the second half. 7

Luka Milivojevic

Seemed to just breeze through the game.  No fuss, no dramas, effectively good. 7

Max Meyer

The German buzzed around and tried to make things happen but the game was desperately lacking in quality. For a player struggling to get starts, he didn't make the most of his chance. 5

James McArthur

Had absolutely nothing of note before it was his cross that led to Kouyate's leveller, helped by some poor Hammers defending. 6

Wilfried Zaha

Dropped far too deep to get the ball but he had the beating of Pablo Zabaleta comfortably. Constantly caused problems whenever he got the ball. Very quiet after the break. 6

Jordan Ayew

Fluffed a chance on the half hour though a deflection on Meyer's cross made it more difficult for the frontman. Bagged the winner with a quite wonderful goal as he danced past three Hammers players. Excellent throughout. 8

Substitutes

Jairo Riedewald (for Van Aanholt, 60')

One superb block denied Antonio in the box. 6

Connor Wickham (for Meyer, 75')

Missed a huge chance to put Palace ahead. 5
