Crystal Palace player ratings vs Spurs after brilliant 3-0 win at Selhurst Park

Vincente Guaita

Had very little to deal with in the first half despite Spurs having some bright moments early on. Kept hold of Lucas Moura's effort after the break well. 7

Joel Ward

Astute performance from the right-back in the opening 45 minutes and had little to deal with in the second period as Palace dominated. Connected beautifully with a shot from a corner that had Lloris diving but it was unfortunately blocked. 7

Joachim Andersen

Little to comment on from the first half, which when you're dealing with Harry Kane is a good thing. Looked comfortable on the ball and dealt with any counter attacks from Spurs well in the second period. 7

Marc Guehi

Just like his partner didn't have much to worry about early on. Made some good interceptions and was comfortable, especially after Spurs lost Japhet Tanganga. 7

Tyrick Mitchell

Showed some good skill and pace in the first half to try and link the play with Wilfried Zaha on the left wing while also dealing with the pace of Lucas Moura. Kept things incredibly tidy in the second half and dealt with the Spurs threat brilliantly. Did brilliantly to get to the byline and produce a shot that needed to be cleared off the line. 8

Cheikhou Kouyate

Kept things moving along in the midfield and made some good tackles in the first 20 minutes as Spurs threatened on the break. Continued well in the game and came off to a standing ovation in the second period. 7

Conor Gallagher

Always looking for the ball and got himself into the right positions time and time again. Should have opened the scoring from close range in the first half but did well to win the penalty with his cross that hit Ben Davies.

Another brilliant outing from the midfielder who looks like he is thriving in this role under Vieira. Was a complete handful for Spurs today. 9

James McArthur

Always wanted the ball and popped up all across the midfield searching for it. Another assured performance from the 34-year-old who is proving he deserves a spot in this midfield. 7

Wilfried Zaha

A difficult first half for the Ivorian who was up against a very physical debutant in Emerson Royal. Managed to beat his man on a couple of occasions though and looked fired up - especially during his altercation with Japhet Tanganga.

Grew into the game more and more as it progressed, and beat his man on a number of times before calmly tucking away the penalty that put Palace ahead. With Spurs down to ten men he had more space to cause mayhem on the left, and although Edouard will take the headlines, Palace fans will be equally happy to see Zaha playing at his unstoppable best. 9

Christian Benteke

Vieira kept his faith in the Belgian and he was rewarded with an unselfish performance from him. Benteke was as always a physical presence for Palace and an outlet for them to find when needed. His manager made a note to praise his efforts after the game which he said had helped Edouard score his goals. 7

Jordan Ayew

Another game where the winger failed to make much of an impact. Had a half-chance in the second half but sent the ball into the stands from the edge of the box. Improved towards the end of the match but still left wanting more the Ghanian. After Olise replaced him Palace looked a better attacking threat immediately. 6

Subs

Luka Milivojevic (for Kouyate 67')

A decent return for the club captain who helped Palace enforce their numerical advantage over Spurs with quick passing and workmanlike running in the midfield. 6

Odsonne Edouard (for Benteke 84')

What can you say? It was meant to be. Edouard had barely been on the pitch before he got his first goal in a Palace shirt, tucking into the corner of the Spurs goal after a good first touch in the box. He had more time to think about his second goal and he took it with aplomb. 9

Michael Olise (for Ayew 86')

A great moemnt for the youngster to make his debut. Played a part in Edouard's second goal with a driving run and pass into Gallagher. N/A
